Comedy Shorts is simply a show about the making of a show combined with sketch comedy. The story follows the cast and crew of a failing and poorly funded TV show which is hosted by Tony Clifton. Clifton is the classic washed up celebrity who spends his time drinking and fighting with his producer and intern, whom Clifton has dubbed "Bitch Tits." Besides fighting with his producer and abusing his intern, Tony introduces the sketch comedy pieces as well as interviews an occasional guest. Each episode begins with an opening credit sequence that edits the creators into a famous movie scene. From there the show consists of the main story line and several sketch comedy bits.
