Iran organized the 2010 Asian Men's Bodybuilding and Athletic Physique Championships. Iran had the number one team winning 9 of the 14 categories, and local hero Baitollah Abbaspour won the overall title. Runner-up team was Iraq. Third team was Thailand, both Jiraphan Pongkam and Somkhit Sumethowetchakun won gold, Sawang Panapoi silver and Kittipong Jansuwan the bronze medal.
