Projet de production allemand de trance-goa formé à Francfort en 1991 par JAM EL MAR (production, né ROLF ELLMER le 08/12/1963, membre de DANCE 2 TRANCE) et MARK SPOON (DJ, né MARKUS LÖFFEL le 27/11/1966 à Francfort et décédé le 11/01/2006 à Berlin d'une crise cardiaque). Malgré le temps relativement faible depuis lequel le groupe a été créé, Ace of Base s'est vu souvent récompensé. La liste suivante est partielle. Ace of Base a sorti le plus grand nombre d'album depuis tous les temps (Livre Guinness des Records Edition 1997). Ace of Base est un groupe de musique pop originaire de Göteborg en Suède. Il est composé de Jonas Berggren (Joker), Ulf Ekberg (Buddha), Linn Berggren et Jenny Berggren; les trois Berggren sont frères et sœurs. Rednex est un groupe fictif suédois, qui a atteint une renommée internationale grâce au titre Cotton Eye Joe en 1995. Rednex a été créé par les producteurs suédois Janne Ericsson, Örjan Öberg, Pat Reiniz et Brian Reddyb, qui ont décidé d'essayer de mélanger la musique country à la musique techno. Ils ont choisi la chanson traditionnelle folk Cotton Eyed Joe, et l'ont transformée en morceau dance. Ils ont enregistré la chanson avec des musiciens en studio, puis ont formé un groupe fictif d'acteurs pour représenter le groupe, et on publié le titre en 1994. Le succès, à l'échelle mondiale, sera au rendez-vous. Un album intitulé Sex & Violins ("Sexe et violons") a suivi le single. Rednex continua à produire des hits en Europe (la suite, Old Pop in an Oak, est sur le même thème), mais Cotton Eye Joe reste leur seul succès aux Etats-Unis à ce jour (en 2006). Le groupe a fait un léger retour sur le devant de la scène lorsque la chanson Mama Take Me Home s'est placée en demi-finale du concours suédois Melodifestivalen le 11 mars 2006 à Gothenburg. Le groupe pop house Corona se compose du producteur italien Francesco Bontempi, alias Lee Marrow, et de la chanteuse brésilienne Olga De Souza. C'est cette dernière qui emménage en Italie en 1990 et qui forme Corona. Francesco Bontempi est déjà connu pour ses productions Shangai, To Go Crazy et Do You Want Me sous le nom Lee Marrow. Le premier single de Corona Rhythm of the Night sort en 1993 mais ne connaît le succès qu'en 1994. Le duo sort ensuite le single Baby Baby en 1995. Leur premier album s'intitule Rhythm of the Night (1994) et leur second Walking on Music (1998).
