Motörhead est un groupe de Hard Rock britannique fondé en 1975 par son bassiste Lemmy Kilmister, seul membre permanent du groupe des origines à nos jours. Évoquant à la fois le son lourd du Heavy Metal et les tempos très rapides du Punk, le tout sur des structures musicales issues du Rock and Roll des années 50 et 60, la musique de Motörhead est souvent considérée comme étant à l'origine du Speed Metal et du Thrash Metal. Si cette parenté peut se discuter, il est indéniable que l'influence du groupe s'étend sur toute la scène hard Rock et Metal jusqu'à aujourd'hui.
