A 19 ans, le rappeur a déclaré qu'il pourrait arrêter la musique après la sortie de son prochain opus aux alentours de Halloween, donc fin octobre. Il s'agira là de son cinquième disque, supervisé par Jermaine Dupri, qui n'a pas encore de titre. « Cet album est très différent » commente l'artiste. Néanmoins, on sait déjà que le premier single s'intitule « Shorty Like Mine », un titre en featuring avec Chris Brown, que Bow Wow qualifie du « plus important enregistrement de sa vie ». En fait, le rappeur a décidé de se concentrer sur sa carrière au cinéma. « Je reçois des scripts tous les jours, je les lis et je sélectionne » dit-il. « Je suis en train de négocier l'un d'entre eux, mais c'est encore confidentiel. En tout cas, soyez prêt à me voir dans au moins deux films en plus. L'année dernière, je me suis promis de faire trois films, dont ‘The Fast and the Furious : Tokyo Drift' ». Un autre film est également en projet pour le rappeur, « Mr President », cependant, rien n'est encore sûr. « Ils sont en train de refaire le scénario, mais je ne sais pas si je vais le faire ».
