An amazing concert took place in Salzau, Germany this summer, featuring vibes giant Bobby Hutcherson, with a career spanning for five decades, rightfully hailed as the Milt Jackson heir, and his Organic Vibes quintet consisting of Hammond wizard Joey DeFrancesco, long-time Oscar Peterson cohort Ulf Uakenius, Ron Blake and Myron Walden on tenor and alto saxes respectively and Byron Landham on drums in set a so swinging that northern Germany almost merged with Denmark that night! This is Billy May's classic film noir theme "Somewhere In The Night".
