Bra Boys, the documentary, is a film about the cultural evolution of the inner-Sydney beachside suburb of Maroubra and the social struggle of its youth the tattooed and much maligned surf community known as the Bra Boys. The story is narrated by Australian actor Russell Crowe and is told through the eyes of members of the Bra Boys.

The film, with a scheduled release date of October 14, 2008, will be the first official surf film to be sold on Blue-Ray discs. Filmed in South Africa, Australia, Indonesia, Samoa, Tahiti, California, France, Nicaragua, Mexico, the film features high-performance maneuvers by a new generation of surfers who are pushing the envelope of progressive performance surfing and progressing in their surf careers.
