Featuring a "deluxe" version of the new nightly "Candleabration" illuminations show, the special 31st March performance also featured Lumiere, a spectacular projections show of childrens' dreams and perhaps the most incredible fireworks display to be seen since the park's original opening spectacular in 1992. Also features closing shots of the new illuminated decorations, castle and Main Street banners. The show was mainly for the press and their cameras, who got free reign across most of the Central Plaza area. Luckily, public could watch from back in Main Street! By http://www.dlrpmagic.com Wishes Nighttime Spectacular, the grand Summer fireworks show of Disneyland Park, finally premiered on 16th July 2005 after months of speculation. This is it! The show was introduced for Paris' part of 'The Happiest Celebration On Earth', mixing the music of the Florida fireworks show with a first-of-its-kind laser and projection show. Unfortunately, the premiere night was filled with technical problems that saw the show begin over 25 minutes later than scheduled - with the crowd giving a relieved cheer as the announcement began! The following year, 2006, saw the show filled with a large amount of extra fireworks, filling all the "gaps" in this original edition.
