Wild animals belong in the wild. But sometimes they have to settle for second best. This is the story of that place. Set amongst rolling hills in the middle of the African bush is a wildlife sanctuary unlike any other!

The time has finally come for all the cats at the Le Sueur Cheetah Project to move to their new and much bigger enclosures. It's an emotional time for Desmond and Elizke, but it's all part of the bigger picture and a step closer to realising the dream of releasing these animals back into the wild.

Take a trip back to the end of the last ice age to discover why today's cheetahs are endangered and find out how captive-bred big cats earn their hunting stripes in preparation for their release into the wild.
