The Xbox One is an upcoming video game console from Microsoft. Announced on May 21, 2013, it is the successor to the Xbox 360 and the third console in the Xbox family of consoles. The Xbox One is scheduled for release across North America, several European markets, Australia and New Zealand on November 22, 2013, with later release in Japan and the remaining European markets in 2014. It will directly compete with Sony’s PlayStation 4 and Nintendo’s Wii U as part of the eighth generation of video game consoles. Microsoft and various publications have classified the device as an “all-in-one entertainment system,” making it a competitor to other home media devices such as the Apple TV and the Google TV platform.

Release Date: October 1, 2013 NBA 2K14 is a basketball video game that was developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K Sports. It was released on October 1, 2013, for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 as well as the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One (which has been set to released as a launch title on November 15, 2013 and November 22, 2013 respectively). LeBron James of the Miami Heat will be the cover athlete, and also served as the music curator for the game. 2K Sports also released the DLC pack that as a bonus for pre-ordering the game, they would receive 10,000 VC, bonus content for “Path to Greatness” mode, adding James in the Blacktop mode and a signature skill for MyCareer mode. On August 14, 2013, 2K Sports annnounced that Crew Mode would return to this years installment of NBA 2K. NBA 2K14 is the successor to NBA 2K13 in the NBA 2K series.

Destiny is an upcoming action role-playing first-person shooter video game in a “mythic science fiction” open world setting. It is developed by Bungie and published by Activision as part of a ten-year publishing deal. The game will be released on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One video game consoles. Bungie demoed live gameplay footage of Destiny at Sony’s E3 2013 conference; it was also confirmed that the game would release in 2014.

Release Date: September 17, 2013 Grand Theft Auto V, commonly shortened to GTA V, is an upcoming open world action-adventure video game being developed by Rockstar North in the United Kingdom and published by Rockstar Games. The game will be the first major title in the Grand Theft Auto series since Grand Theft Auto IV (2008), and a continuation of the fictional universe that was introduced in that game. The 15th game in the series overall, GTA V is to be set in fictional Los Santos in the state of San Andreas and its surrounding areas, based on modern-day Los Angeles and Southern California. Renditions of San Andreas were previously featured in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, released in 2004, and the original Grand Theft Auto, released in 1997.

It was initially set to release during the Wii U’s launch window (which lasted from the console’s launch until the end of March 2013) in North America and Japan, but instead set to be released on September 15, 2013 in North America and August 2013 in other territories.
