The intention of the film is to graphically demonstrate the intangible cost of pursuing economically driven architectural site choices.Director Description:l-Mei Ervin is a native of Taipei, Taiwan, a highly urbanized, relatively tree less environment. Living now in canopied Charlotte, North Carolina. She is an architecture graduate student with a serious interest in environmentally sensitive sustainable architecture.

My film is basically my "tribute" to the tree and how it has impacted my life as an artist. My hope in creating this is that people will have a greater respect for the tree and stop taking it for granted, that they will be able to relate to the importance of the many rescources the tree provides us as consumers.Director Description:I am an artist. My work consists of painting, photography, film and graphic design I was born in Hudson, MA (USA) and came to realize my "special" talent at the age of five. I've always struggled with the pursuit of my art, and still do. I stay true to it, simply because it is who I am. Honestly, if I were in it for the money, I would have abandoned it a long time ago.
