Digital Slaves [Nuits Sonores]
During Nuits Sonores 2011, we conceived and directed a real time audioreactive scenography in Transorder's big hall in Villeurbanne.Disk Matrix, is composed of 288 disks, sized 50 cm diameters, matched in 3 massive broadcasting surfaces of 96 disks each.The principle of the matrix allows to adapt to the configuration of the hall meanwhile keeping visual unity.The mathing thus defined functions as a kinetic sculpture.This scenic device permanently evolving is completely modular and scalable.Therefor each gig is a pretext to new experimentations.The global principle is to dynamise the invasted space and to visually translate the musical atmosphere.The technical device allows to welcome outsider video artists working in a more conventional way, thanksto real time video capture system.
Digital Slaves [RT Virtual Calligraphy]
Digital Slaves and Kaalam have develloped a new system for real time calligraphy and drawing.This system reproduces exactly the calligraphic feeling adding some new features from the digital world.The system is composed of one industrial camera at 60 fps, a home made lamp and a touch screen with an interface.The interface allow the calligrapher to choose the texture, the width and the high and also the color.All running in real time using our favorite library: vvvv
Digital Slaves [Kazantip-Z17]
Kazantip is an ultimate non stop Rave from the 25 July to the 22 August which takes place on the Black sea in Ukraine.This year was the 17th edition, known as the Z17.Digital Slaves was ask to build a huge wall of 50 m large and 10 m high with 72 square screens.This wall was fully audioreactive using several meshes with several textures coordinates.Digital Slaves made also two Vj shows on the Main Stage with different artist such as Paul Van Dyk, Sven Väth, ФОНАРЬ, Sanches, Nikitin & Semikashev, Kooqla ....Many thanks to Anthokio and Eps from Moscow invited us for that project
Digital Slaves [UFA]
UFA 3D Mapping Event is the first even of its kind in Lebanon and the Middle East. It is a non-commercial urban art event and competition.The event took place over 6 days on the facade of UFA Building in Martyr's Square in Beyruth city center, from 22nd of DEcember to 31st December 2010The program consisted in :A Historiacl piece called " Law Hakouni aan Beirut" was shown.A commissioned piece called " Color of an old Beyruth"A selection of 15 Lebanese artists in competitionOn October 15th 2010, a competition was launched for the best animators and visual artists in the country. 15 finalists were selected, attended 3D mapping workshops with experts.
Digital Slaves [Teenage Bad Girl]

Digital Slaves [4D Light & Sound Installation]

Digital slaves [Modern Temptation 2009]
Modern Temptation 4, organised by Cinetic Event, took place at the Olympic, on the 17th January. For this time Cinetic Event invited DJ and live artists such as Electronicat, Rogue Element, John Lord Fonda ... Digital Slaves was asked to set-up a visual scenography for this event. We were projecting and mapping realtime motion graphics fully audioreactive, on 22 metallic acoustic shields, with two HD projectors, using vvvv.

Digital Slaves [Nuit Blanche]
On October 4th 2008, Digital Slaves and Charlie Mars came to Nuit Blanche Amiens and showed a nightly interactive urban mapping called Mortelle Banane. The theme of this year edition was dedicated to monsters and other freaks.The matter is to use a building with its architecture and bring it to life all night long with many different video projects as a baroque burp concert, a furious babana or the dance of monster poos...The spectator is himself a part of the projection since he's invited to take place inside the Monstromaton (Monster Booth) so as to see himself instantaneously transform in hairy or sticky monster intagrated in the mapping.Following this experience, confounded visitors will be offered a banana by Charlie Mars himself.An hideous play adventure for everyone, which as no begining and no ending and from which you're the hero.

A minimal live patching session made with vvvv using 5 projectors all around the LC Club. Digital Slaves - Lightup Bristol 2007
Light Up Bristol / 17th - 21th December 2007Hardware and Media Streaming : Digital SlavesGraphics : Spike Design, Mc Faul Agency ....Mapping : Crustea / AntiVJDigital Slaves was asked to come to Bristol to manage a massive projection on the Bristol's Council House. The event, Lightup Bristol, try to gather artistic pieces from main Bristol's agencies, artists, vj's ...We were streaming two 3072 x 768 uncompressed video files, one for the left side and one for the right side, with two of ours home made servers.A laptop was managing the audio files.The broadcasting was done by six Christies S+ 20k. The final resolution was 6144 x 768 on 160m.Crustea AntiVJ was there and made, at night, on the same setup an audiovisual mapping.www.digital-slaves.com
