2008 NYC Macy's July 4 Fireworks
Happy Fourth of July! The view from Brooklyn Heights of the start of the 2008 Macy's Fourth of July Fireworks display over the East River. Fireworks firing from a barge located on the river between South Street Seaport and the Brooklyn Promenade. Because it's Brooklyn, you also get to enjoy plenty of car horns, sirens and other urban sounds.

It's official. A rep from the Guinness World Records certifies that the Comic Strip Live has set the record for longest comedy show at 50 hours, ending 10:30 p.m. June 5, 2008.

Fung Wah Theme Song
The Walsh Brothers, raised in Charlestown, Mass., and now spreading the funny in Los Angeles, returned home to perform at the inaugural AltCom comedy festival. They closed their performance with their theme song for the Fung Wah bus company, backed by The Grownup Noise.
