"Memories of Old Awake" is one of the movies in the Official Selection of ÉCU 2012. Dr Emily Lethbridge is exploring the centuries-old Sagas of Icelanders during a unique year-long research trip. This film shows how one saga has a continuing hold on local people's imaginations, with Icelanders describing the characters as friends and talking of the ongoing pride they have in both the protagonists and the landscapes in which the sagas take place."Memories of Old Awake" est un film de la séléction officielle 2012 à l'ÉCUest une nouvelle entrée à l'ÉCU 2012.Dr Emily Lethbridge explore les sagas d'Islandais lors d'un voyage de recherche unique. "Labirent" is one of the movies in the Official Selection of ÉCU 2012. A massive explosion rips though a busy street in Istanbul, Turkey. 95 people are dead; 30 Americans and 5 British. The massacre sends shock waves from Turkey to London and Washington, DC. A new terrorist organization is behind the attack. "The Man with a Stolen Heart" is part of the Official Selection for ÉCU 2012. A surreal tale about a man who wakes up one day only to discover his heart has left. This forces him on a journey of self-discovery as he tries to find his heart.

"Rima in Beirut" is one of the movies in the Official Selection of ÉCU 2012. Rima is a shy and insecure girl, yet very curious and imaginative. At the age of 19, she moves to Beirut to lead an independent life away from her parents. Everything changes when she buys her first camera that will accompany her in her rounds in the city. One day, she discovers in her photos a young man who follows her everywhere."Rima in Beirut" est un film de la séléction officielle 2012 à l'ÉCU. Rima est une jeune fille réservée et peu sûre d'elle, mais également curieuse et ingénieuse. A 19 ans, elle partit s'installer à Beyrouth pour mener une vie indépendante loin de ses parents. Sa vie change lorsqu'elle achète sa première caméra qu'elle portera tout le temps lors de ces ballades dans la ville. Un jour, elle remarque un jeune homme sur ses photos qui semble la suivre partout.

"The Squirrel and The Penguin" is an official selection of ÉCU 2012. All the Misses in the office/ Miss who?/ Who is Miss Denmark? The ÉCU office is a cultural mix of people who run in and out every day. That is why names of ÉCU interns can be difficult to remember sometimes. Here is Marie's aka Miss Denmark story.

"Dry Valley" is a new submission to ÉCU 2012. This story takes place in Dry Valley, a village owned by the noble family of Khrushevs. We see it with the eyes of Natalia, young and naive girl who serves in their country house. Check out the trailer!
