TV Tropes really hit the nail on the head with this movie: flawed enough to provide hours of enjoyable riffing, but not a completely unwatchable trainwreck Kind of funny that the one thing they DON'T ever rip on is that all outside space scenes are footage directly stolen from the original Battlestar Galactica.

If you're wondering how my friend knew about this movie without knowing about it being in MST3K, apparently he found out about this movie when studying on entertainment history in South Africa (where this film was made) during Apartheid. I guess that kinda explains why there's no black people in this movie either.also, I guess it's Dailymotion causing the off-synch, cuz it's fine on my host file.

A good friend of mine dared me to put this movie up, because it is so incredibly bad and cheesy. Well, unfortunately for him, he never said what version of the movie! Unlike him, I've watched every episode of MST3K, and I knew that this exact film was used in one of the most infamous MST3K episodes of all time. So here it is, MST3K Season 8 Episode 20 - Space Mutiny!

I know Mari Imaji's thick accent as Minmei may kind of make it seem like she's not doing that great for this series, but on the other hand, it makes sense in context: she's a chinese-japanese girl living in a primarily english-speaking land. It's only natural that she'd have an accent.

okay, there's only 2 things I don't like with the dub. 1. The Zentraedi don't have that cool echo effect when they talk. 2. Vic as Hikaru. I mean, his little bitchy Ed voice is good for Hikaru, but it still rubs me the wrong way. Otherwise, it's a good dub.

Well, Beast Wars is deciding to be a bitch in the file splitting, so let's see if I can get this series up! So...here it is! Where the whole saga started! I must warn you though: this series suffers from huge amounts of QUALITY. Sometimes, they actually just show frames with horrible transition between, and that's not Dailymotion's work. It does that even on my quad-core processor.
