On Friday March 6, 2009, I was filming the surrounding scene of a police investigation from a sidewalk, that is open to the public. It turns out, a male may have possibly committed suicide inside of his white toyota tacoma pickup truck with a gun / firearm. There was a visible bullet hole and shattered glass lay around the white truck. As, I filmed I received glaring attention and an officer for Tomball Police Department, called sergeant Gary Hammond approached me, and did not seem to like me there filming this public scene at all. Sgt. Gary Hammond, in a not so asking tone, basically warned me that he was going to ask me to put away the camera and leave where I was. I do not know how Tomball Police Dept. or Sgt Gary Hammond typically handle photographers / videographers, but I was assisted or welcome at all.
