Snail facials is the latest alternative skin care treatments to hit the UK. It may look revolting but having three of the slimy creatures crawl on your face for 20 minutes gives an instant glow and rejuvenates the skin to an astonishing degree, according to pioneering therapist Diane Gower. Her Simply Divine spa in Corby, Northamptonshire, is the only place in the UK to offer this unique experience, at a cost of £50 a time. The organically fed snails leave a trail of mucus that contains powerful anti-oxidants, proteins and anti bacteria that repairs and plumps the skin.
