Year Dot is a groundbreaking project from Channel 4 that will give an extraordinary insight into that journey. It will follow a group of fifteen young people as they go through what they hope will be their life-changing year and from 30th June 2008 Channel 4 will be with them every step of the way. To celebrate the project launch and beginning of the year, Dailymotion are holding a competition calling on users to make a video entry around the theme ‘a day in the life of’. We want to see interesting stories which show the real you, your talent and your aspirations for this year. Videos must be 2 minutes in length max. The most interesting and original entry will be chosen by the Dailymotion judges. The chosen video will be made into a professional film where a TV crew will film ‘a day in the life’ of the winner in their home town. This will be aired on the Dailymotion homepage and on the official Year Dot site.
