This tune is UK dancehall fire at its best - Run go tell a friend! Ed West, also well known as the drummer from the highly respected band The Drop, and on this occasion takes control of the buttons and hits us with a classic slice of UK dancehall that has been mashing up dances across the country for months. With 2 different cuts of equally high pedigree from 2 of the most exciting UK talents Parly B and Jago, each with its own heavy weight dub version from UK legend Manasseh plus murderous Jungle remixes from J-Man and FLeCK this release is a sure fire anthem for 2014. .LIGHTER! Parly B: What a year it has been for this man. Having established his reputation with the Skints, Parly has gone on to take 2013 by storm establishing himself as the most saught after MCs on the UK dancehall scene with recent hits on Mungo's Hi Fi's Scotch Bonnet and Reggae Roast amoung many others. His track 'Dem a Fight' on this release is arguably his biggest and baddest to date and sets a message of intent for 2014. Watch out for this man, he is gonna be BIG! Jago came to fame as the front man of dub/reggae outfit Onlyjoe and brings his rugged, energetic style to the release with great effect. Jago's cut, entitled Ilani, is a tribute to his first daughter who has been a continual source of inspiration to him. He is currently putting the finishing touches on his debut album, entitled 'Jago And Friends' which is set to be released in early 2014 and is set to make big waves in the UK Reggae scene and beyond. J-man delivers an absolute killer of a Jungle remix that is sure to excite Europe's vast sea of Jungle fanatics. Fast becoming one of the most talked about up and coming producers on the UK underground rave circuit, Bristol's dub plate munching badman has been taking the scene by storm with his trademark style of party flexed Ragga-Jungle. Having just signed to Run Tingz Records and with his debut album soon to drop, things are heating up for this exciting talent. FLeCK: Next up we have FLeCK ,an electronic music producer extraordinaire hailing from Athens, Greece, who hits us with a down tempo 140 BPM Jungle reworking. RUFF an TUFF this is a hard hitting alternative to the original and brings brand new flavour to the release. Having made big waves in the electronic music scene since the 90s, FLeCK's music has found its way into the record boxes of the likes Public Enemy's DJ Lord, Rusko and many others as well featuring on Diplo's Mad Decent blog and massive radio support.
Elle a enregistré de nombreuses sessions live pour la BBC et d'autres radios européennes. disrupt ----------- After a few years of experimenting around with the most different equipment and styles (from Gabba over Digital Hardcore to Techno and Electronica) disrupt finally discovered Dub as the one universal way of music. From the lack of money came the idea of producing own Dub music with the obvious (and back then also the only) tool at hand - a cheap laptop. The first attempts on tracks in this veine were released in May 2004 on the highly recommended PHONOCAKE netlabel as the 'A Fistful Of Dub'-EP. This release turned out to become a small surprise hit which gave enough motivation to pursue the whole thing further on and eventually start the JAHTARI label together with Rootah in Nov 2004. Since 2007 a heap of vinyl releases followed: releases om WERK, Scotch Bonnett and Police In Helicopter, two solo LPs, many EPs and 7"s (alongside Maffi) - and an album with Soom T which took the two of them touring around the globe over the last two years. Right now disrupt is heavily getting into building his own music gear DIY style (like this baby over HERE) to see what real voltage and old-school microchips can do to Dub and Reggae in an otherwise over-digitalized age. So better stay tuned - there's no end in sight for future goodness! http://www.jahtari.org

The idea to remix the track came about after seeing the first cut of the video he had directed. "I wanted something moodier to fit the vibe of the video, so we went in with our friend Tony Ra who reworked the track specifically around what we had created visually" says Tricky.

A small city surrounded by mountains, green meadows filled with cows in summer and loads of snow and thousands of ski-tourists in winter. The crew consists of Busy Fingaz, Juwee, Fu and Sensay. Four music lovers that although growing up with different social backgrounds -- ranging from punk rock-loving-skateboard-kid to being a conductor's offspring with classical music education -- finally met in the year 1999 in a graphic design school and the rest is history. This time they hooked up with European dancehall-ruler Million Stylez and laced another bass heavy Reggae-Electronica hybrid. Million Stylez laid down an anthem for all the weed lovers worldwide, switching from toasting to singing and back, with his trademark style and voice all over the place. Playing with different genres is natural to the Wax Wreckaz -- whether it's in their DJ-Sets or productions. And so it's obvious that the result has a unique sound to it, including influences from different genres like house, bass, hip-hop and of course dancehall and reggae.
