101st Marriage Proposal/101 Kaime no Puropozu - Japanese Drama - English subbed
12 forty-three minute episodes - 3 parts each (a, b & c) I had to split into three parts due to site's current restricted video duration limit.
VCD quality

Story line: A man willing to lose everything to win a heartbroken woman's love.
I watched this J-drama series when it first aired in New York City way back in 1991. One of the dramas that influenced my watching of Asian dramas. It's a shame Fuji TV ruined a good thing by deciding to stop subtitling their dramas. FujiTV created a furor among J-drama fans everywhere. Anyway, I've probably watched this drama about four times and have enjoyed watching it each time. It had very high viewership and was quite popular. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. I suppose it seems rather dated compared to most of the current slick sixteen-episode Korean dramas, but a classic is a classic. Take it for what it is. I'd definitely say it had a wonderful if implausible ending.
