Part 2 of a 1992 documentary on the history of Doctor Who, broadcast on BBC2 and introduced by an Anorak(!). Transferred from video-tape. Rated quite highly by fans until "30 Years in the Tardis", which it clearly influenced, the following year.Doctor Who and TARDIS are trademarks of the BBC. Fulfills 'FAIR USE' criteria.
In 1979, the BBC released a condensed soundtrack version of the popular classic "Genesis of the Daleks" as a 12" vinyl LP. With specially-recorded bridging narration by actor Tom Baker, this was therefore probably the first true Doctor Who audio adventure. The BBC have recently released a re-mastered version of this version of "Genesis" as a reasonably-priced LP-style "Vintage Beeb" CD.This video is of the original vinyl LP. It is a BBC Record, distributed by PYE Records. The number of the record is REH 364.Doctor Who and TARDIS are trademarks of the BBC. No copyright infringement intended. Dalek word mark and device mark are trade marks of the British Broadcasting Corporation and Terry Nation.Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for "fair use" for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research.
