Thanks for the advice. I will be using images from other Dalek stories, but not from colour stories, because the Daleks' eyes look different in those. I usually refer to online transcripts (and sometimes novelisations) when reconstructing - transcripts of all the missing episodes are available online: http://dwtpscripts.tripod.com/index.html

Yeah - I'm not saying that The Moonbase was the show's first "base under siege" story (indeed, it repeats several plot points from The Tenth Planet), but it was Troughton's first one.

Actually The Moonbase is Pat's first proper base under siege story, as the Daleks don't really use siege tactics in Power. In fact, I see The Moonbase as the template for many of his subsequent stories. He's lost his sillier character traits from earlier stories, and his "some corners of the universe" speech in Ep 2 sounds like a mission statement.
