Fridous Aashiq Awan

Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan born on January 11, 1970 in Sialkot is a Prominent Pakistani Politician.<br /><br />Dr. Firdous entered politics through her popular social works. She was elected to a reserved seat for women in 2002 and was made a parliamentary secretary. In 2008 she contested elections as candidate of Pakistan Peoples Party from NA-111, Sialkot –II. She was elected again by defeating Chaudhry Ameer Hussain, former Speaker of National Assembly with a huge margin. <br />She is currently serving as Federal Minister for National Regulations & Services.
