Chris DeMarco began his career in music as a much sought-after musician and band front man, having shared the stage and played with a virtual who’s who of super-musicians of the ‘70’s and ‘80’s. He now has two CDs on his self-distributed label Dreamco Music and shows himself to be in fine musical form as he treats us to a volume of classic fare meant to please the true Rock aficionados among us.
The latest CD is simply called "Chris DeMarco - The 80's". The songs on the new CD were recorded in New York in the 1980's and have now been released for the first time.
”Lost and Found” is an aptly named album that weaves together DeMarco’s past and present musical contributions into one cohesive work, featuring Dick Wagner (Alice Cooper Band), Tommy Talton (Gregg Allman Band and Cowboy), Ken Mazur (Robert Palmer Band), and Barry Richman (Lynard Skynard) on Guitar; Billy Langley, keyboards; Rhys Clark (Billy Joel Band and Freddy Fender Band) playing drums; and Jim Fielder (Buffalo Springfield, Blood Sweat and Tears and Neil Sedaka) on Bass. Billy Joel and Michael Monarch (Steppenwolf) appear on the bonus track Sail Away.
Selections from both CDs are on the playlists of many radio stations and podcasts in the US and around the world.
Currently residing in the Atlanta, Georgia area, Chris DeMarco has proven his mettle as a legitimate artist time and time again. From his glory days as a front man for the Island Records recording act Riff Raff, which he formed in 1977, to his contributions to the work of the legendary cadre of musicians he also calls friends, Chris DeMarco’s music and artistry has stood the test of time. Still in his musical prime, and uncompromising in his commitment to making excellent music, he is without a doubt the stuff legends are made of.

April 13 we had our first show at Smith’s Olde Bar in Atlanta on a Monday night, and the attendance was not great. The following Saturday night (April 18) we played at Trilogy in Marietta to a crowd of about 120. A top-quality t-shirt by Bay Island Sportswear is now available at www.chrisdemarco.com/store.html and at gigs of course.
