Is a 600cc Bike a Good First Bike?
Sorry about the video quality. I was accidentally zoomed in. If you get bored skip to the last 3 or 4 min for a funny story.I get some hate directed at me when I make vids like this. But THIS is the reason I make them: "THANK U SO MUCH!!! I would be dead if it wasn't for uHey 13mordeth, u might remember me, i was the one asking u about the monster as a first bike... Well i got be a old POS 1987 Honda Maxima 600 that i payed $550 for.. And i am having the time of my life with it!! Its old and beet up but still runs great, it has 35 000 Km on it, is very under powered but i love it!! I took your advise and got me a old cheep bike that i can drop as many times and not give a shit. well ive dropped it 6 times hahaha!! The point of my message is that i 100% agree with ur latest video. I got my bike the same time my friend got his. Originally we were both going to go buy brand new sport bikes, then after talking to you my whole outlook of what your first bike should be changed. But my friend was still all hot and horny for a CBR 600 and he got one!!! Now i am having all the fun and he is the one who is shitting himself everytime he gets on it!! He is at the point where he is to nervous to get on it and its more of a display peace in his garage. I got on the cbr 600 last week, in a big parking lot at our local collage, i did not want to ride it for the first time on the roads. and wow!! i would have been dead by now if i bought somthing like that!! so THANK YOU!!! I love my old piece of shit honda!!!! and i plan to keep it for the next couple year before i upgrade!! "And an M13 quote: "I want to learn to juggle, but I'm going to start by learning with chainsaws. But don't worry. I intend to go slow, be careful, stay level-headed, and respect the power of the chainsaws while I'm learning". Be "careful" all you want, go as "slow" as you want, be as "cautious" as you want, be as "respectful" as you want...your still juggling chainsaws! The "level-headed" thing to do in this situation is NOT to start with chainsaws. " - Mordeth13

Are Motorcycles Dangerous?
The main point of this video is that if the chances are slim dying on a bike in the world's most dangerous riding country....then it must be much safer where ever you are. And remember if you want to convince your parents, buy the gear first: http://www.cheapmotorcyclegear.org/

Sportbikes, Cruisers, First Bike - Motorcycles
Trying to talk about Sport bikes VS Cruisers, but for the 2nd video in a row fail to keep on topic. But I do talk about mainly motorcycles in this vid. Just not the pros and cons of two types like I wanted.

M13's New Bike!!!
Yes, if you pause at the right time you can see me in the mirror....and yes I have a freakishly small head. That's why I don't show myself. And yes I'm joking....I'm actually an XXL helmet size......it's just the mirror.

M13....Crashes....finally.
When I have some more time I'll put together a proper video explaining everything and whatnot. But I can't ride or drive at the moment.....and I don't feel like making a vlog without a vehicle. I think my son stole all my luck when he was born....ha. Oh well, if I had to lose it...I'm glad that it's him that took it. :-)Scooter was a loaner (the owner of the shop's own scooter), my own bike was in the shop.Check out http://www.m13online.com/ if you have a chance.

Yamaha's TW 225cc
A neat looking fun bike. A unique looking 120kg strong off-road bike with a low seat and a huge rear tire make it a very popular bike for playing around on. It's also comfortable with two people on.

How to Shift while 'Emergency' Braking - I.C. 1
Please note for normal or even aggressive braking it's still best to shift down and allow engine braking to help. But I'm talking in this video about how to stop "as quick as possible". And that's ALL about the front brake. Why no rear brake? It is very difficult not to slam the rear brake in an emergency situation, and especially to let the rear brake go in time. If your muscles get tense in such a situation, the tendency is to push the rear brake hard with your foot. That will result in a locked rear wheel. If you are lucky, it will slide from left to right and back, and if you are less lucky, the rear wheel will move passed the front wheel. In an emergency situation, you don't want that. That's the reason for the advice not to touch the rear brake in an emergency stop.As a bonus, the bike will stay upright, because the rear wheel will keep turning. A turning wheel has resistance to move sideways. Why pull the clutch? You would think that it is not wise to pull the clutch, because you would profit from the engine brake. The engine is capable of braking the motorcycle a bit when you stay off the throttle, but it also resists *more* deceleration. And because you should brake much harder than the engine brake, you pull the clutch. This is the beginning of my Ice Cream series done on the Ninja. Enjoy.
