Rapper and mogul Jay-Z has announced he will headline and curate a two-day music festival on Labor Day weekend in Philadelphia and proceeds will benefit the United Way.The festival is the 'Budweiser Made in America' music fest and will be held in Fairmount Park on Sept. 1 and 2. Jay-Z said in a statement, "'Budweiser Made in America' will encompass every genre of music, creating and showcasing the only genre that matters, 'great music.'" It looks like Fatherhood is doing the rapper good, and we like the sound of that. The East Coast music fest will be produced by Live Nation, and tickets will go on sale May 23. No performers have been confirmed, except Jay-Z himself who will headline. We do know that it will feature approximately 30 acts, "...that embody the American spirit" across three different stages.With Jay-Z, Budweiser, and every genre of music involved, we're sure the tickets are going to go fast.
