As an award-winning free-lance videographer, I've created footage and segments for Fox News, MSNBC, CourtTV, ABC Nightly News, CBS Sunday Morning News, The Montel Williams Show, Inside Edition, and BBC Television (UK); and gathered several hours of programming for "Road to the White House" on C-SPAN and C-SPAN2 covering greater Iowa.
I have interviewed everyone from street-level activists to senators and governors; scores of nationally known experts and even a world-famous NASA scientist.
I have produced hundreds of hours of television programming for local stations including: UITV, PATV-18 and KCRG-TV9.
For over ten years, I have directed commercials for television, music videos, children's programs and live television.
In 2007 I turned a textbook, "White Teachers/Diverse Classrooms," into a DVD for educators featuring on-location footage and interviews with students and teachers in East St. Louis, Chicago, and Minneapolis. An expanded second edition is planned for 2010.
In 2007-08, I was awarded a New Journalist Fellowship by the Center for Independent Media.
