I am the Original and Only Rootbrian, I once was on youtube, but after losing many accounts due to flaggers not giving a crap what videos I made, I found Viddler and made it my video's home ever since.
Key features that appealed to me:
-500MB file size limit (Smaller bitrates don't affect quality)
-Unlimited video length (hell yeah!)
-Human staff/moderators (a MUST, youtube hates humans!!)
-NO censorship! (youtube/few others are FULL of it)
-NO false flagging (doesn't work at all :))
I discovered dailymotion a year after joining youtube as it started growing and kept thinking and hearing about it on youtube as time went by, eventually signing up because dOvetastic got falsely suspended and him finally recovering his awesome microwaving show!
I love dailymotion just as much as viddler, 150MB is WAY TOO easy to utilize with smaller bit rates (16:9 SVGA and SXGA, 128-512KB/s, HD 800p, 960p, 1080p at 512k-2MB/s) so i'll never lose out on cherishing awesome videos.
