Prostate cancer expert Dr. David Samadi discusses the importance of probiotics in balancing out the bacteria within our bodies. Probiotics, also called “friendly bacteria”, are believed to aid in digestion, regularity, and help in preventing and fighting infections by keeping harmful bacteria at bay. Eating foods high in probiotics such as yogurt can be very helpful after taking antibiotics, which not only eliminate bad forms of bacteria, but the good ones as well.
