Nawar Shora

Nawar Shora is the author of the recently published Arab American Handbook (2nd ed. 2010, Cune Press.) Nawar has delivered in-person trainings to more than 20,000 professionals, including law enforcement, university, religious, and corporate groups since 2001. Additionally, he has reached hundreds of thousands of others through several federal government training videos. Nawar’s efforts have been recognized with awards from DHS, FBI, and others. He is a highly sought after public speaker at universities and corporations about the history, norms, mores, culture, and current events of Arabs and Muslims. He has also served as a guest lecturer at varied academic institutions, the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC), and the FBI Academy.
