ManhattanCactus is a live electronic music project that was born after the meeting of two musicians whose background are very different from one another :
Sébastien : Programming/Deejaying and drums (Dot, Salsheevers)
Emmanuel : Programming (Kmist, Mandala Experience)
As they were both motivated at the same moment by creating and leading a project of live electronic music, they decided to get united in order to make a good combination of experimentation and efficiency on the dancefloor.
They both bring up a lot from their experiences, their visions and their approach of machines so they can create a brilliant and aleatory musical performance.
Their performance is based on improvisation on machines, there is no pre-defined structure, only the present state of mind count and every live is different from the preceding one.
