Giorgio Tartaglino's reputable experience in the Montréal real estate marked spans over four decades. He first started to invest in real estate properties in the beginning of the 1970s. The first assets were predominantly commercial properties in the Montreal area. Over the years the portfolio of commercial properties focused intensively on industrial and office building in the downtown area. Among the notable assets owned we can name the “Canada Cement Building” located in front of the Square Phillips on Cathcart street and the “Croix Bleue” building on Sherbrooke street West.
In the beginning of the 2000s, Montreal downtown areas starts to see new residential development break ground after a long pause in the market. In order to diversify Giorgio Tartaglino seizes the opportunity and acquires numerous land properties to launch a new residential project. The first project, named “Le Roc Fleuri”, is a 24-story building located at the corner of Drummond Street and de Maisonneuve Boulevard, in the Golden Square Mile. This luxury condominium project offers, to the residents of its 140 units, high-end amenities among which we can count an indoor swimming pool, a sauna, a second floor rooftop terrace, a reception hall and a conference room. Thanks to the five star services provided to the residents “Le Roc Fleuri” is now considered one of the most prestigious addresses in downtown Montreal.
In recent years, Giorgio Tartaglino decided to focus primarily on the residential real estate market. Following this new guideline a new project was launched in 2012, “Le Roccabella”. This new complex is composed of a two floor commercial podium connecting the two 40 floors residential towers. Le Roccabella, a 600-unit luxury project, will be built in two phases. The first phase being the commercial podium and the “Drummond tower”, scheduled to be delivered end of 2015. The second phase, or “de la Montagne tower” following shortly after.
