Speaking from the root of it all, New York, Gustapo and Genovese lay down hard rap and spit their outer-borough street sagas of hustle, trust, honor, respect and loyalty. Genovese, a Yonkers native, and Gustapo, of Queens, have known each other since birth and have survived a decade in the rap game. Now known as First Cousins, Genovese and Gustapo have set sights on surpassing their previous successes with a vengeance.
Moving into 2008, Gustapo and Genovese are raising the bar for their musical endeavors. Their debut album as a duo, It Ain't Friends It's Family, will feature guest appearances by Ali Vegas, Joell Ortiz, The Outlawz, Tre Williams, PSC's Big Kuntry and more.
