Songkran Day is the New Year in our old tradition. Should we call it a New Year to celebrate, then? In Thailand, Songkran is more than just a water festival, but it is also the day we all go home for a family gathering. Apart from water splashing and going to temples, youngster spent these long holidays paying respect to elderly, make a visit to their relatives' house.
