E4’s award-winning home-grown drama series returns for it’s third series. Written by one of the youngest writing teams in TV drama history, and with defining contributions from teenagers consulted at the storylining stage, Skins truly is for, about and by young people. Series three features a brand new cast, chosen from a massive online open casting process, with over 12000 auditioning for the show, from all over the UK.
The new series features a roll call of UK comedy talent, including: Harry Enfield, Morwenna Banks, Geoff Hughs, Maureen Lipman, Mackenzie Crook, Scott Mills, Rick Fulcher, Simon Day, Olivia Coleman, Josie Long, and Matt King.
With a music score drawn drawn from the cream of new British music; talented fans; Beyonce’s producers; The Rural; and in-house composers Fat Segal and Timothy Victor, the soundtrack to Skins promises to set the tone for the return of this innovative landmark series.
