I have chosen Daily Motion to serve as the backup host to my Discovering Religion YouTube channel. As many of you know, YouTube has gotten a lot worse with its automated content ID matches. Several of my videos have been taken down due to copyright infringement, despite my right to Fair Use. However, I make videos for my entertainment, as well as yours, and I am not interested in challenging copyright claims lodged against me.
Therefore, any videos that happen to get taken down by YouTube, or videos that I think YouTube might flag, will be posted on this Daily Motion channel instead. But if I ever post something on Daily Motion I will be sure to provide notification on YouTube as well, as that's where many of you are subscribed.
