Crime In the City™ is a tribute and original Funky HipHop/NewJack Swing & Soul influenced band. Inspired by the struggle of the emancipating youths of New York to express themselves in a hostile and superficial society in the beginning of the 1980's, the members of Crime In the City™ are determined to become a mouthpiece for every block worldwide.
One of Crime In the City™'s most precious asset is its multicultural and versatile characteristic: A smooth mix of English, French and Creole with a combination of edgy energetic breakbeats, eletro synth, clever rhymes and sultry R&B/Soul Vocals!
