Avec leur musique énergique, éclectique et innovante, ils nous distillent, depuis 12 ans maintenant, un mélange unique faisant bouger les têtes des curieux, sauter les furieux et finalement, a su réconcilier les genres. Le groupe offre une large palette d'influences musicales. Eux-mêmes se revendiquent de l'hybrid’music. Décryptage : du hip hop à la techno en passant par le ragga, le rock, le dub, la drum’n’bass et l’électro, leur musique est un véritable concentré d’énergie et d’ouverture musicale.Un taboulé musical réussi, avec leur deuxième album, les Badjoke confirment leur décalage et leur identité bien singulière au sein de la nouvelle scène française.
English:The French stage has always gathered a great collection of exceptional artists, either in the music mould or not. The French band BAD JOKE belongs to those who have chosen to stray off the beaten tracks. For more than ten years now, they have kept stewing their magic recipe of energetic, eclectic and innovative hybrid music that turns heads and gets the fans going. They have managed to reconcile different genres. Their latest album called “Alchimie” is indeed the alchemy of a wide range of musical influences. The “bad jokers”’ music is hybrid music. Ingredients: their distinctive sound is a mix of hip hop, ragga, rock, dub, techno, drum’n’bass and electro. Their music is therefore a perfect concentrate of energy and musical open-mindedness, an effective musical salad bowl difficult to concoct. But they did it! Bad Joke’s second album confirms the band’s identity and difference on the new French stage.
