Andy's Hangar is a private hangar at a fly-in community in Texas, Pecan Plantation. It is a mile from the edge of Lake Granbury, forty miles southwest of Fort Worth. The air park is part of a larger private community, with more than 5000 inhabitants. We domicile more than 100 aircraft at 132 homesites ranging in size from 3/4 to 5 acres. EAA Chapter 983 is more or less our community organization, and you can easily find news of our activities by searching for Chapter 983 on the web. I'm a former USAF pilot who's now flying 777s for a major airline. During time off, I work on planes and fly a variety of 'em, including my own Cessna 180 and Progressive Aerodyne SeaRey.
The latter has an exemplary owners' organization, and non-owners can see the social site, Splash and Dash Seaplane Delights. The expansive SeaRey Technical Site is available to owners. Plus, we now have a YouTube presence under the member name "seareytech."
